Help clients learn the Rochester Transit System (RTS Bus) from reading bus routes and choosing different types of fares, to bus safety.
Duties Include:
- Accompanying clients on 'test runs' to sites they will visit frequently, like the Refugee Health Center and OACES, then back to their home to make sure they are familiar with the route.
- Teaching clients where and how to purchase passes and pay fares.
Schedule: Volunteers have the freedom to establish their own schedule during the work day/week. This will be discussed with staff prior to volunteering.
