Warm Meals from the Heart- For 3 people:
Our clients are in need of hot meals during class sessions where they are introduced to American Culture. We hope to help our clients focus on the vastly important knowledge by asking volunteers like you to provide a meal during Cultural Orientation classes. These will vacillate between requests for vegetarian stew and rice dishes, to halal chicken and rice dishes, if you are interested in home cooking. If you would like to provide a bought lunch, you could bring a pizza or pasta dish. If you decide to provide a bought lunch with meat, please make sure it is halal. Meals are to be dropped off at 87 N Clinton Ave at the time indicated, where a staff member will bring the lunch up to the clients. Please provide plastic utensils, plates or bowls.
