Help us celebrate and appreciate Rochester's refugee community on this Saturday before World Refugee Day! We are looking for volunteers to support with food service, face-painting and other youth activities, and event set-up and take-down.
Duties Could Include: You will be working with the WRD committee to support this year's event. Volunteers can choose the roles that work best for them.
- Setting up tents and chairs
- Setting up hydration and snack stations
- Serving food: making sure it stays hot/cold, keeping utensil and napkins stocked
- Cleaning up trash and recycling bottles
- Taking down tents and chairs
- Painting faces, doing henna, or providing any other artistic services
Schedule: Volunteers can choose the hours that work for them. Set-up crew 7 am - 10 am. Take-down crew 2 pm - 4 pm. All other activities happen during the event (10 am - 2 pm).
